Making a Difference and Giving Back

Caring about others is a part of our philosophy at CACTUS. At CACTUS we are committed to helping the community and world in which we live.

CACTUS Software has chosen two charities that are close to our hearts. The Urban Rangers and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Urban Rangers is an organization founded in 2005 by John Wandless-the original founder of CACTUS Software. Father John’s goal is to divert at-risk African American teenagers from dangerous and unproductive lifestyles by helping them complete high school while preparing them to enter post-high school career pathways. While the Urban Rangers are learning and training, they are improving their neighborhood and repairing and painting the homes of the elderly and single moms. CACTUS Software proudly provides support, resources and financial assistance to the Urban Rangers.

Juvenile Diabetes is an autoimmune disorder disease that causes the body’s own organs to stop functioning properly. While diabetes by itself can be monitored and treated, diabetes remains an autoimmune disease that quietly attacks the body preventing it from properly defending itself from today’s’ viruses, bacteria infection or even proper healing cuts and bruises. CACTUS Software is proud of our sponsorship and company-matching program for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International. JDRF is dedicated to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.
